Quick Response to Homer

"Homer - I just wanna say that... I love your show. I listen all the time and... I love you guys. I just wanna say
that the skins should keep Campbell for another year and let him develop under a competent coach.
The FA quarterbacks this year aren't great and really not worth trading picks. We should at least wait
out on Philly's Kevin Kolb when they realise no one's gonna give up a first rounder. And yes. OT with
the number 4 pick!"

I forgot to address that topic... Campbell is not a bad quarterback.  BUT, he has not yet shown that he is a good one either.  I feel like they should keep Campbell, don't go after Bradford or Claussen, but rather try to get a QB in a later round to groom, work with, and take a gamble on.  I honestly believe, that Tebow has a chance to be something special in the NFL.  Not necessarily at QB, but when you take into consideration his accomplishments and his work ethic, it would lead one to believe that he can change his throwing mechanics enough to compete in the NFL.  I do agree that the college version of him dominated, but that will not transfer over to the pros.  If he can make some small changes, he can do well. He's a winner and that's not something you can teach... but then again, that's what they said about Campbell.  Vince Young is an example of someone in college who did well and whose game doesn't necessarily fit the NFL mold, but is still somehow making it working for them and their team... or maybe it was because he had a 2000+ yard rusher.  Either way, I think that Tebow definitely has a chance to be a good QB, and if not, at the very least, a good football player.  But Tebow isn't the only non-first round QB that has talent and could be viewed as a project.  So, maybe that should be the route we take... keep Campbell, let him work with Shanahan and see if we can be made into an Elway-esk QB.  Or atleast give him the chance to be evaluated by Shanahan and judgment passed on how he tries to run his system, rather than his body of work where he has had different coaches, systems, and coordinators.

As for Kevin Kolb... I had him on my franchise team in madden... i hate him... That aside, he's not necessarily that great either.  He has a stacked offensive team, where he doesn't need to make plays so much as get the ball into the hands of playmakers.  So I veto Kolb.
